- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I've heard from many people if they were dying outside of LRGH they would ask to be taken elsewhere. From the reviews it looks like folks agree. Something must be done. Healthcare is screwed up enough as it is without having to deal with more headaches. I just read a "letter to the editor" today in the Laconia Free Sun paper (8-18-17) which stated they cannot do anything to treat alcoholism. They turn people away. Seriously? - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I've had 4 ER experiences at this hospital and I couldn't be more satisfied. The most recent was Tuesday, 5/16/2017 for an appendicitis. They were professional and efficient and showed compassion. They got me scheduled for surgery the same day and the procedure went perfectly. The overnight stay was as comfortable as one could expect with a caring and efficient staff. This was the second surgery in the last thirteen months at LRGH and I feel fortunate to have such a facility so close to where I live. Thank you LRGH!January 05, 2017by Randy Hawkins
